She began her journey at PetSmart, where she learned the essential skills of the trade and honed her craft. Alyssa has developed a particular fondness for executing breed standard haircuts as well as engaging in creative grooming techniques that bring joy to both dogs and their owners. Learning new techniques and methods to making your pups look their best is one of many things Alyssa has passion in doing.

When she is not grooming, Alyssa is an active competitor in the Scottish Highland Games, traveling across the country and aspiring to compete internationally.
