Luke

Luke is 21 years old and has been around dogs and working with them for most of his life. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, which he picked up last year, exploring Colorado, and playing video games with friends after long days. He has always had a love for dogs and enjoys being around them. Since high school, Luke has worked various jobs, but the most rewarding and exciting has been working at a daycare and training center.

Waggs n’ Whiskers/Macs Pack is his first job in the daycare and the training world, beyond pet sitting for neighbors and friends. He has learned a lot about ensuring that pets are safe and comfortable and has discovered a newfound passion for being around dogs and animals. Luke is eager to continue learning more about dogs and how to make a daycare center as enjoyable as possible for them. He takes pride in maintaining excellent customer service and respect for clients and their pets and is always looking to grow and improve.

Kathy (Dog Trainer)

Kathy is a Colorado Native who has been a professional dog trainer since 2001. Kathy worked for a large well-known company for several years in the Highlands Ranch and Parker area before going out on her own. Kathy primarily did in home 1on1 training and has since come on board at Mac’s Pack to teach classes. Kathy teaching in a group setting will reach a broader number of clients and help unite dog owners for a pack like setting. Kathy’s training classes are designed to help you enjoy your dog free from obedience issues. Classes will cover topics such as communicating effectively with your dog, basic education, preventing behavioral problems with behavioral medication, and recall. No clickers, shock collars, pinch collars, or other unnecessary aids will be used. Kathy will help you “think like a dog” and educate your dog in a way they understand. Classes will run at Mac’s Pack on Saturdays from 9:30am to 11am. The class will cost $130 for the 4 weeks. Classes will have homework (follow through) to ensure you are getting the most out of the training. Please let Mac know if you are interested in signing up.

Emily

Emily is thrilled to be part of Mac’s Pack. Dogs have always been a part of her life, and from a young age, she knew she wanted to work with them. Her love for dogs deepened as she dog-sat and walked neighborhood dogs, which only fueled her passion. At 18, right after high school, she began her grooming career as a bather at PetSmart. She later earned her groomer’s license and discovered her true passion in grooming. Emily loves working with dogs and takes pride in showing them that grooming is a positive experience. She also enjoys seeing the dramatic transformation in dogs before and after their grooming sessions. When she’s not grooming, Emily is either exploring the world or volunteering at the local animal shelter.

Jayda

Jayda doesn’t just see working with dogs as a job — it’s her lifestyle. Her favorite hobby is spending time with the dogs in their care, and she genuinely enjoys every moment of it.
